12-yr-old boy falls from storey building while escaping from step-mother

• It’s believed that, the step mother had reported the boy to his father on his returned from work.

  The father of the child decided to beat the boy at the dawn. 

• Neighbours confirmed that the child was beaten for close to an hour. The father had locked all the doors to escape and the 12 year old boy couldn’t have any way to escape.

A 12 years old boy died after trying to escape beatings from his step mother and father. The unfortunate happened yesterday at Cape Coast.

It’s believed that, the father of the boy has grown a habit of beating the boy at dawn.

Thus has continued for a long time that neighbors have grown tired of complaining.

The father of the child decided to beat the boy at the dawn. Neighbors confirmed that the child was beaten for close to an hour. The father had locked all the doors to escape and the 12 year old boy couldn’t have any way to escape.

After having enough, he felt he couldn’t take it anymore and therefore jumped from the 3rd floor of the building. He died at the spot.

Neighbors saw the dead body while the father was still in his room but the neighbors refused to go near the body as they believe the death was caused by the father.

Reporting for Adom TV, the reporter explained that, he was going for the dawn prayer around 5am because he is a Muslim.

He heard a sound and when he went near the spot, he saw a young boy in a pool of blood. The neighbors came out and said that the father of the boy has been beating the boy the whole night.

The father is now in the hands of the police.
