A 15-year-old housemaid, identified as Bahijja Gombe, has reportedly committed suicide in an apartment where she worked in Kano.

Sources asserted that Bahijja murdered herself by hanging, adding that no note was given up expressing the explanation she took the lethal choice.

The Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, who affirmed the tragic incident, said Bahijja was discovered hanging in the condo.

As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, he said her cadaver had been cleared to a medical clinic mortuary.

Haruna said the order has dispatched examination concerning the issue to unwind conditions encompassing her demise.

“We got the report around 10pm on Saturday that one Bahijja, 15-year old was found hanged inside a house where she was functioning as the house help,” he said.
