17-Year-Old Boy Whom Seyi Shay Harshly Judged At Nigerian Idol Finally Reacts

Seyi Shay has been under fire since yesterday as many Twitter users have dragged and slammed the Female Nigerian singer
She was criticised for her choice of words as she handed down her verdict at the audition of this year’s edition of popular reality TV show Nigerian Idol.

Deborah Oluwaseyi, popularly known by her stage name Seyi Shay was one of the judges who presided over the reality TV show on Sunday the 28th of March 2021.

Nigerians went ahead to call out Seyi Shay for the way she spoke to a young 17-year-old participant on the TV show.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , The saga started after a video clip of Seyi Shay delivering her verdict on the 17-year-old young boy’s performance trended online.

This verdict of hers generated a lot of controversy online, as many people argued that she should have been more constructive and encouraging rather than down talking and discouraging the young boy.

In a recent development, the young boy who goes by the Twitter handle @Ayotorrus has now reacted to the video.

He revealed in a tweet that the incident shattered him emotionally and psychologically.
