Kidnapping Is Not Peculiar To Nigeria Alone-Lai Mohammed
Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister for Information and Culture while commenting on the kidnapped kagara students in an interview with channels television on Monday Night maintains that the kidnapping of students in schools is not a crime peculiar to Nigeria alone, adding that the most developed countries of the world like the United States of America also experience school kidnapping.

Mohammed went further during Channels Television’s ‘News Night’ monitored by The PUNCH insisting that government will not offer any form of ransom to secure the freedom of the affected students of the Government Science College in Kagara, Niger State.

He, however, revealed that FG is making use of intelligent means to secure the freedom of the abducted children.
However, Lai Mohammed’s statement maintaining that school kids also get kidnapped in Developed countries has been generating mixed reactions among Nigerians who feel his claims are baseless, Insensitive, and doesn’t justify the kidnapping of the school kids in Nigeria.
