COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 2 Additional Deaths, 240 New Infections

  • Total cases confirmed – 155,657
  • Total cases discharged – 133,768
  • Total deaths recorded – 1,907

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 155,657 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 28, the NCDC reports 240 new infections and 2 deaths resulting from COVID-19 complications.

The new infections were recorded in 21 states — Anambra-85, Lagos-82, Osun-17, Ogun-10, Kwara-9, FCT-8, Kano-7, Abia-6, Borno-4, Edo-2, Bayelsa-2, Kaduna-2 and Rivers-1.
