Northern Politicians Behind Tinubu’s EFCC Probe, Group Alleges
- Tinubu is currently under investigation by the EFCC sequel to some petitions written against him back in 2018
A forum identified as the Disciples Of Jagaban (DOJ) has accused some group of leaders in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of attempting to soil the integrity of the National Leader of the party ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking in Lagos, the National Coordinator of the group, Abdulhakeem Adegoke-Alawuje confirmed that no amount of ploy employed by conspirators will deter the former governor of Lagos State.
Adegoke-Alawuje reminded the entire party that Tinubu singlehandedly brought the idea that saw Buhari into power, recalling how he fought for the unity and trength of the party and betrayed his own people for peace.

Tinubu is currently under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following the removal of erstwhile Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Ibrahim Magu.
Anonymous sources in the EFCC said the probe was sequel to some petitions written against Tinubu since 2018 which Magu had failed to act on.
To this end, the agency recently wrote to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), requesting copies of Tinubu’s asset declaration form.
