18-Year-Old Boy Stabs Prostitute To Death In Ogun

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Ogun State Police Command has arrested an 18-year-old boy, Jamiu Malomo, for allegedly stabbing a 28-year-old prostitute to death in the state.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, made this known in Abeokuta, the state capital, on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old boy was alleged to have stabbed the victim when she demanded payment of their agreed N10,000 for her services.
According to the police spokesperson, the suspect was arrested following a report lodged at the Adatan Police Division by the Chairman of Ilupeju community, Oke Aregba.
“The chairman of the community told the police that members of the community, on Saturday, July 18, discovered the corpse of the victim and the knife the suspect used to stab her on a rock in the area.

“The suspect was later arrested at a bar in the Paseke area of Abeokuta where he was trying to pick up another prostitute,” Oyeyemi said.
The police spokesperson further disclosed that the 18-year-old boy who had just been released from prison last month had confessed to killing the prostitute.
Oyeyemi noted that the suspect, during interrogation, said he picked the deceased from Panseke and took her home for sexual pleasure.
He added, “After having carnal knowledge of the victim, she demanded N10,000 which was their agreement, but he refused to give her because he had only N8,000 with him.
“This led to a heated argument between them; he then gave his phone to her and told her to wait for him on the road while he went to bring the money for her.
“While she was waiting, the suspect came back with a knife and stabbed her deeply on her neck; resulting in the instant death of the woman,” the police spokesperson disclosed.
