Teenager Arraigned for Stabbing Uncle in Kaduna

According to the prosecutor, Inspector Chidi Leo, the altercation began when Patrick’s uncle, Amos Dogo, tried to advise him about his behavior. Leo explained that Patrick, known for drinking and arguing with neighbors, became angry during the conversation and stabbed his uncle in the shoulder and back.
The injuries were serious enough to require Dogo’s immediate hospitalization.
Patrick pleaded not guilty to the charges. The magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, granted him bail of ₦100,000, requiring two sureties who must be blood relatives and show proof of employment and tax payments within Kaduna State.
The case was adjourned to January 21, 2025, for further hearing.
