Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA) president, Mr. Samuel Timbuwak Achie together with some of his NEC members paid courtesy visit to the 15 Atyap elders today, 5th May, 2021, who are detained in connection to the crisis in the land.
They were scattered in seven Police Stations around Kaduna.
The good news is that, all of them attested to the fact that they’re well taken care of and we met them in good condition and in high spirit, with none of them broken emotionally. Infact some of them said that the difference between their cells and their homes is the freedom of movement.
The president asured them that the entire Atyap nation is with them in this trial time and encouraged them to keep their spirit alive.

He also assured them that efforts are been made to get them reunited with their families. He told them of the resolved of the NEC to follow the path of dialogue with all residence of the Atyap chiefdom to ensure lasting peace is achieved collaboratively.
They all showed gratitude and said they’re happy seeing the ACDA EXCO, and were encouraged by their presence.
The president took time to also appreciate the Nigerian Police personnel for the show of professionalism in handling detainees in all their various cells visited.
The president also appreciates the show of love by the entire Atyap sons all over that took time out to visit and encourage them with a special thanks to the ACDA Kaduna branch for making sure they don’t lack in food supply.
