20-year-old Girl Hacked To Death Inside Parents’ Home In Ondo

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a 20-year-old girl identified as Ebunoluwa Osatuyi has been killed at her parents’ house in Ondo State.

The admission seeker was murdered in her parents located at Okita Elerinla Axis of Akure, the state capital.

The deceased was killed after returning from her coaching centre where she had gone for tutorials ahead of the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

According to the deceased mother, Bosede Osatuyi, an axe and a pestle that were used to hack her daughter to death were abandoned in the sitting room.

“I returned from work around 5:15pm on a fateful day only to meet her lifeless body in a pool of blood with am axe and pestle beside her and I immediately called the attention of the neighbors. There was a deep wound on her head which showed that she was hit on the head which eventually led to her death.”

“My husband and I entered the sitting room and found out daughter with her two hands tied with rope on the floor. She was bleeding profusely and we also found the axe and pestle with a bloodstain on the chair including a rope hung on the fan.

“We immediately rushed her to the hospital where she was confirmed dead before we went to the police station to report.”

The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Funmilayo Odunlami who confirmed the incident, said investigation had commenced.

PPRO said, “The parents are not suspecting anybody but we have commenced investigation into the matter.”
