UEFA will pay Villarreal €8,500,000 (£7.5m/$10m) for winning this year’s Europa League ahead of Manchester United.
The Europe top football governing body will also pay Man United €4,500,000 (£4m/$5m) for losing the Europa League final to Villarreal, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Gerard Moreno and Edinson Cavani scored for Villarreal and Man United respectively in Gdansk.
