Nigerian Muslims have joined other Muslims in the world in praying to Almighty Allah for the eradication of COVID-19, saying that the 2020 (Hajj) pilgrimage to Mecca is very important to perform.
Different opinions have been given on social media and live discussion that no significant signal from Saudi Arabia as a form of information for the preparation for the 2020 Pilgrimage.
Some were even saying that the federal government should ease the lockdown on religious beliefs nationwide to allow the Muslims and Christians to pray to God in their worship centers as every other means to stop the COVID-19 has failed.
All the Muslims, especially those who wish to perform this year Hajj, citizens from Nigeria have been praying that solution to the coronavirus pandemic should be discovered on time as they felt time for Hajj was still intact.
Alhaja Fatimah Ibrahim told our reporter through a phone call that preparation for Hajj is always done earlier but the main Hajj performance is just within a month, adding that 2020 Hajj will start by the second week of July 2020.

Fatimah, who is based in Ilorin, added that with God every impossibility can turn into possibility within a twinkling of an eye.
“At the moment, what we need is prayer,” she said.
Mrs. Hajara Badmus said she thought Hajj is not compulsory according to what she heard from the Islamic scholars that it is mandatory only if one is capable of doing it financially and medically.
“I believe that everything is working according to Allah’s instruction. I wish all my people in Lagos state preparing for Hajj a successful one,” she said.
