Toju Davies Daibo, has been revealed as the young man who took his life last Saturday after he jumped into the Lagos lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge.
It was reported that he had jumped into the lagoon after he had alighted from his Uber ride, telling the driver to stop as he had a stomach upset.
Toju’s mother, in an interview with Channels Television, said that the incident happened five days ago and is appealing to the government to help find her son, dead or alive.
She further stated that her son had no history of depression or any experience with drugs abuse, adding that he had just concluded his degree at the Lagos State University where he studied Quantity Survey, and was preparing to go for his NYSC stint after which he would go to Canada for his master’s degree.
