Moreover, before I move further on this new development, it would be better that I explain what PlentyWaka organization is all about for those that have just heard of the information for the first time.
This idea is to ease the stress which Lagosians do face when they want to board a bus. It is to eradicate the clamoring of many passengers for the same seat at the bus stop. It is to bring efficiency and reliability to public transportation. It is also to create job opportunities for people living in Lagos State. It is to reduce traffic jamb as many don’t need to go out with their cars anymore as buses with conducive rooms are available. This system of transportation will put a stop to the loss of goods and luggage in public buses. However, with this new idea, from the comfort of your home, you can see the number of buses coming to your bus stop and the time they will get to your bus stop. So, you can book the bus and your choice of seat online. Commuters can have the application on their phones through www.crowdyvest.com.
This application connects drivers to their riders without necessarily have conversations with the drivers. The riders (passengers) can only have a conversation with the bus assistant when getting on board while drivers are to communicate with the APP. The riders can rate the drivers whether they fall below a better rank. If complaints do come from riders more often, the bus may be retrieved from the driver. If a driver uses his bus for three years successfully, the bus will be given to him as his own. The system, however, is not to eradicate the present system but to increase the quality of transportation within Lagos State.
This idea is to ease the works of the Lagos State Government in transportation. All the Government road and traffic agencies are to work with for the betterment of riders. The buses are running CMS to Ajah, Abraham Adesanya, and beyond. Other routes like Adeola Odeku, Eko Hotel, and other areas within Victoria Island.
This system is better than Uber because the transportation fare is between two hundred naira and five hundred nairas as the fare for Uba is three thousand upward.
You can order or book your bus by just type your bus stop in the APP on your phone. When you type three letters, you see the drop-down of the bus stop that starts with those three letters, then clicks your bus stop. When you do that, you will get an automatic response from the APP.
Additionally, the public relations officer of the organization, Precious Okhimamhe said Plentywaka has resumed its operations recently following the directive from the Federal Government to ease the lockdown.
” To ensure the safety of our pilots, vehicle assistants, and riders, we set up safety measures that would be enforced as we operate.
“Most importantly, we just launched a new product referred to as the Plentywaka Staff Bus Solutions. This is is an exclusive bus service powered by technology to provide staff bus solutions to corporate organizations. The goal is to provide premium dedicated buses to organizations to ease the stress of transportation of staff to and from work especially in these times of the pandemic, she said.
