2021 WWE Opener: Nigerian Wrestler Defeats King Corbin, Sami Zayn

It’s an excellent start for the new calendar year for Apollo Crews as well as World Wrestling Entertainment, thanks to a win on the first day in January.

Nigeria-born wrestler Apollo Crews was in action Friday evening at the first exhibition of the year for WWE as competitors on the blue brand, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

Intercontinental Champion Big E and King of the Ring winner, Baron Corbin, slug it out in a non title fight, as Big E took down King Corbin by disqualification after Sami Zayn’s interference on  the side of the ring.

Apollo Crews got out of the back room and saved Big E from a two-on-one situation that resulted in a tag team match.

Tag team expert, Big E struck a great partnership with Apollo Crews as they defeated the duo of Sami Zayn and King Corbin after Corbin walked out on Sami Zayn during the match.
