After the disappointing back to back draw with Sierra Leone in November, Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr is expected to change the outlook of the team.
The dramatic and unexpected 4-4 draw with the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, Benin City led to outcry and condemnation from all quarters and Rohr is ready to make some changes.
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa will become the first player to be dropped from the team due to his unemployment state as Gernot Rohr was expecting him to make a move during the January transfer window.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , Samuel Chukwueze was also not penned by Rohr due to his inactivity at club level since January courtesy of injury not forgetting Dennis Bonaventure who just completed a loan move to FC Köln from Club Brugge.
Lastly, Heartland goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has also been excluded from the team that will have Maduka Okoye, Daniel Akpeyi and the returning Francis Uzoho but another goalkeeper from the Nigeria Professional Football League will be given an opportunity.
