An APC Group Has Protested Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket

 

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Some stakeholders and party stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Monday took to the streets of Lagos to protest the Muslim-Muslim ticket fielded by the party.

 

The demonstrators, under the aegis of the Coalition of APC Stakeholders Network and Southwest Supporters of Tinubu, began their peaceful protest from Shoprite mall in Ikeja to the State House in the Central Business District area of Alausa.

Holding banners and chanting songs, the protesters while walking through the heavy traffic caused by the demonstration called for the resignation of former governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima from the vice presidential candidate position.

 

Some of the banners had inscriptions saying, ‘Dear Baba Asiwaju, Let Shettima Step Down in Yoruba Interest’, ‘President Buhari and Tinubu should rethink Muslim-Muslim ticket’, and ‘Tinubu, replace Shettima with Christian VP to balance the ticket.’
