EKO HOT BLOG reports that Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to his victory in the presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday.
This online media had earlier reported that Atiku emerged the presidential candidate of the main opposition party after defeating all other aspirants with a wide margin at the primary election held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
Atiku while reacting to his victory at the special national convention of the party said the battle to rebuild and unite Nigeria moves forward.
He expressed delight as he emerge as the presidential candidate of PDP ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The former vice president further stated that looks forward to speaking with Nigerians across the country and talking about hope and unity.
Atiku in a post on his Twitter account on Saturday night wrote:
“Today, the battle to rebuild and unite our great country moves forward. I’m honoured to be named the @OfficialPDPNig candidate. I look forward to speaking with Nigerians across the country, taking the message of hope and unity as we build one future for one people.”
