According to him, any “riff-raff or moneybags” will not get to the highest office in the land, even if they offer money in the 2023 election.
“Mr Vice President, do you know you are the best candidate in your party?” he asked, describing Osinbajo as the only candidate that knows the country and has the acceptance of everyone across the country regardless of tribe and religion.
He said they will not allow “riff raffs” to take over power even if they offer all the money in this world.
“No matter how much money he has, let him bring the money, we will collect it,” he added.
Meanwhile, various support groups under the auspices of New Tribe Nigeria has endorsed Osinbajo as the most credible person to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
In a communiqué issued in Kano on Sunday, at the end of a one-day declaration conference, the support group noted that after a critical analysis of achievements and performances of the Buhari regime despite the severe economic and security challenges, Osinbajo’s pedigree remains the best choice for the nation.
The group stated, “The conference resolved that the choice of Osinbajo is to press for continued corporate existence, progress and unity of the New Tribe-Nigeria.
‘’We want to push for continuity and sustainability of ongoing landmark developmental projects, embarked upon by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
‘’We resolved to mobilise Nigerians of all faith and tribe to support the enthronement of a just man, who understand policies and programmes of President Buhari’s administration.”
It urged the APC to nominate Osinbajo as its Presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election for consolidation and continuity of the APC overall stability.
