2023: Dino Melaye declares intentions to contest
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a former senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, senator Dino Melaye has stylishly hinted of his intentions to re-contest in 2023.
In a post he made on his social media page Wednesday, the senator urged the people of Kogi to make a joyful noise, as he was ‘coming’, although he didn’t reveal what he was coming as.

“Hit the gong, beat the drums, blow the trumpets, halla the horns, use the ogene and let them all make a joyful sound. Hello! DINO is COMING.” He posted.
EKO HOT BLOG recalls that before the last general elections in 2019, Dino Melaye indicated his intentions to govern his people, while seeking for support from people of the state. Unfortunately, he was denied his ambition back then.
According to him: “It is a battle of no retreat, no surrender. I am ready, I am willing, I just need the support of our elders and the generality of our people. Above all, I have consulted God and there is no network failure between God and I. Anytime I call upon Him He picks my calls, He doesn’t give me missed calls. Most importantly, my mother recently joined the angels, so I have celestial support too. In view of all these, before my political elders and fathers and all the people of Kogi West Senatorial District that are here, and those that are not here, I hereby announce my intention and decision to run for the governorship of Kogi State in 2019.”
