The EFL Cup’s second round for the 2023-2024 season kicks off tonight, promising intense fixtures that could have you glued to your seat for more than 90 minutes.
Among the most exciting matchups is the clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham, both Premier League teams, set to take on one another at Craven Cottage at 7:45 p.m. tonight.
The game between Brentford and Newport County will also be a delight to watch tonight. The game will parade players with Nigerian descent like Brentford’s Frank Onyeka and Michael Olakigbe.
On Wednesday, there are five mouthwatering fixtures involving some top Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Taiwo Awoniyi’s Nottingham Forest, and Alex Iwobi’s Everton.
After the second round, the third round will witness the arrival of eight more top Premier League clubs, including heavy favorites like Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, which will make the competition tougher to win.
