Tinubu has won Oyo State in the presidential election.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has emerged victorious in the presidential poll in Oyo State.

Tinubu received 449,884 votes while his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 182,977 votes.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi of Labour Party came a distant third by winning 99,110 votes. Rabiu of Kwankwaso of NNPP also received 4,095 votes.

The total valid votes cast in Oyo were 851,956 even though the state has 3,237,310 registered voters

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, a PDP member had refused to back his party’s presidential candidate, Atiku.
