Eko Hot Blog reports that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has won all the 16 LGAs in Ekiti State.

Tinubu polled 201,486 votes to beat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

Atiku and Obi polled 89,554 and 11,397 votes respectively.

The official announcement of the winner is expected soon.

Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos, contested the presidential election with 17 other candidates including, Atiku, Obi, and Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria Political Party (NNPP).

Early results suggest the APC candidate will win all states, except Osun State, in the southwestern region of Nigeria.
