2023: I Will Turn Southeast Into Taiwan Of Africa – Tinubu Vows
Tinubu has revealed his plans for the southeast if he emerges president in 2023.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 general election, Bola Tinubu, has vowed to turn the southeast into the Taiwan of Africa, as well as negotiate the peace of the region.
According to him, if elected as president, his government would build the necessary infrastructure like roads and railways to attract investors.

This online media platform gathered that Tinubu made this promise at the presidential rally/governorship campaign flag-off of the APC at the Pa Oruta Ngele Township stadium in Ebonyi State.
He noted that in other for the southeast to attain the status of Taiwan in the African region, his government would create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the region.
The APC flag bearer also promised to negotiate with agitators in the region to achieve peace and security, adding that the region possesses the human capital to be able to achieve that status.
Tinubu, among other things, also vowed that his administration would invest massively in education if elected because “Education is the greatest weapon against poverty. We will reform the education sector.”
The Vice Presidential candidate of the party, Kashim Shetima, and the party’s National Chairman, Adamu Abdullahi, were absent but represented by the Deputy National Chairman, South, Emma Eniukwu.
