2023: Lagos Traders Abandon Morning Sales, Walk For Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu
The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima have been supported by the business community in Lagos State’s Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Eko Hot Blog reports that they abandoned early morning sales for a five-kilometre walk to support the re-election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other APC candidates.

Hundreds of market women and men joined the walk, which started at Sunday Sunday Market in Ogba, and terminated at the Office of Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, David Odunmbaku.
Leader of the group and Iyaloja-General of Ojodu LCDA, Mrs. Folasade Salako, said: “We are doing this for our candidates in APC; from Asiwaju Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Shettima, Governor Sanwo-Olu, and Deputy Governor Dr. Hamzat, and others…
“Our job is to mobilise people to vote for them. Our job is to mobilise traders to vote for Asiwaju Tinubu as the next president. We believe in him, and we believe he can turn things around for us in Nigeria.”
