The campaign spokesman made the declaration while reacting to the town hall meeting between the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and leaders of the organized labour held in Abuja on Monday.
Though Tanko ruled out any form of alliance, he also added that he was not aware of the meeting until it surfaced in the news.
He however boasted that there was no cause for alarm as the Labour Party was on course for victory with Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
“No, we have not considered anything on alliance with any camp. We are contesting this election with our full capacity,” he stated.
Reacting to the fears that the meeting between Tinubu and the labour leaders may affect the chances of his own principal at the polls, Tanko said there is nothing to be worried about.
He said organized labour can hold talks with anybody, but they are the owners of Labour Party.
“We were not aware of the meeting but the TUC and NLC are for everybody. You can come and discuss. But we know they are owners of the Labour party.
