Another focus in the meeting is how to resolve the internal crisis which might cost the party victory in 2023.
The presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike have been at loggerhead.
The crisis started when Atiku defeated Wike in the presidential primary of the party.
Things, however, got worse when Atiku ignored the nomination of Wike as his running mate and decided to pick the governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa.
At the time of filing this report, those who have arrived for the meeting include the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku, the Chairman and Secretary of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senators Walid Jibrin and Adolphus Wagbara, respectively, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal and his Bayelsa State counterpart, Duoye Diri as well as the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.
