PDP Speaks On Bello’s Threat To Unleash Violence

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, raised the alarm over an alleged plot by Governor Yahaya Bello, to unleash a killer squad on opponents ahead of the 2023 general elections.

 

State Chairman of the PDP, Engr. Sam Uhuotu, raised the alarm at a media briefing in Abuja, on Friday.

He spoke as Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, adopted a new strategy “in his quest to ensure justice” in the PDP following his failed bid to oust Senator Iyorchia Ayu as national Chairman.

 

Meanwhile the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and other aggrieved members of the party.

 

The development was confirmed by the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu on Friday.

According to a statement released by the Special Adviser on media and communications to Ayu, Simon Imobo-Tswam, the PDP Chairman revealed this when he led members of the NWC to visit the acting chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), Adolphus Wabara.
