Northern Delegates urge Nigerians to Support Bola Tinubu for President.

A team of supporters from Niger State in Northern Nigeria under the aegis of Bola Tinubu Support Organisation, BTSO, has paid a courtesy visit to the Aladeshonyin and Paramount Ruler of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, Epe Division, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr Babatunde Ogunlaja JP ( Fmbe Hons ).

The visit to the Royal Palace of Oba Ogunlaja was in the company of the United Kingdom representative, Otunba Ade Adeshina, the BTSO Country Director, Facilitator and Executive Member of the Strategic Team.

Among the delegation, led by Comrade Abubakar Kuso, ( Senior Special Assistant to Niger State Governor on Ecological Matters ), are Mike Nwaede, PA, HRH Emir of Borgu, Niger State, Barrister Abubakar Jubril, BTSO Legal Adviser and Abdulrahman Usman Muawiyya, Director Panning, Research and Strategy, BTSO.

The host and his visitors deliberated on several pertinent and topical issues top of which was Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential ambition declaration.

Speaking with Ekohotblog in an interview, Comrade Abubakar Kuso disclosed the motive behind his visit to Oba Ogunlaja. While stating the reason for his organisation’s support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, he also admonished Nigerians to join the moving train.

” We are here on a mission and the mission is to tell our Royal Father that we are out to solicit for support on behalf of our Principal, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidency come 2023.

“Bola Ahmed Tinubu is someone we believe has paid his dues as a Nigerian and we felt when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office, he should ascend that throne because he will be the first politician to ascend the throne of the Nigerian Presidency.
My message to all Nigerians is for them to know that the train has just left the train station and I feel this is the right time for them to join before the journey gets tougher “, he averred.

He noted that the journey was worth it and he’s satisfied with the reception received in Lagos despite the hectic experience of travelling by road from Niger State to Lagos. He said that he was in awe of the superb support gotten in Northern Nigeria, stating that he believes the unity of Nigeria is hinged on detribalisation.

Reacting to the visit, HRM Oba Dr Babatunde Ogunlaja JP ( Fmbe Hons) was appreciative of the courtesy call to his Royal Palace as regard the Presidential ambition of Asiwaju of Lagos, Bola Tinubu.

” I welcome their coming to the palace to seek for the support of Asiwaju Bila Ahmed Tinubu. Recently, he celebrated his 69th birthday and from there, he was urged to contest for the top position in the country which all the Obas gave their unwavering support. So, if a Northerner can come all the way from Niger State to seek the support of Asiwaju who belongs to the Southwest, I don’t think it is dishonourable. He is the only man that we know that is capable of the job based on his track record in governance”, Oba Ogunlaja stated.

HRM Oba Ogunlaja further extolled the Emir of Borgu, Niger State for supporting the aspirations of Bola Tinubu through the BTSO. Oba Ogunlaja, therefore, appealed to aggrieved citizens of the country to eschew bitterness against his candidacy and rally around him, stating that all humans are fallible of which Asiwaju Tunubu is one.

Similarly, Otunba Ade Adeshina, BTSO United Kingdom Country Director and Diaspora Facilitator, said that the choice of Odo-Noforija Kingdom was deliberate as he’s an indigene of the kingdom. He added that Oba Ogunlaja’s reputation preceded him, The BTSO movement led from the North, he said, shows the significance and importance of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a father to the youths and the future of the country.
