Senator Shehu Sani made his comment in reaction to a post shared on Twitter by Channels TV, in which the television station stated that in a programme ‘Politics Today’ on Channels TV, the Governor stated that all Nigerians are asking him to contest

“Nigerians, the youth and women, and all Nigerians, including very objective elites are asking me to run for President in 2023,” Bello said.

The Governor further stated that it’s high time we looked for someone that has what it takes to fix this country and unify everyone. He also said he believes the people are already seeing something in him that is why they are asking him to come and unit and fix the country.

Reacting to the tweet, Senator Shehu Sani made a figurative statement, he said the Governor should save himself from the ship. He probably was telling Gov. Bellow to see how he can help himself first.
