EKO HOT BLOG reports that former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, on Friday said Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, cannot win the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) presidential primary election in May 30/31.

The VP’s ambition has put him in the APC presidential primary for which his former boss as Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu; the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; the Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi; Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State; and Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, had also declared an interest.

Meanwhile, Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, also continue to be linked to the race.

For Omokri, not even President Muhammadu Buhari commands the delegates’ votes to make Osinbajo triumph next month.

“Osinbajo is just delusional. He thinks he can win the primaries by speaking English. Even Buhari doesn’t command the delegate votes to make him win. Yes, he has name recognition. But his name recognition in the North is like beer. Northerners know it, but reject it!” Omokri wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
