EKO HOT BLOG reports that delegates of the All Progressives Congress, APC from the South East have turned down an invitation from Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The delegates complained that the APC chieftain had shunned them while making a nationwide tour.
One of the delegates who received the invitation told People Gazette that they had refused to honour Tinubu’s Invitation to Abuja on Saturday after he sidelined them.
He said: “We won’t be going to him in Abuja because he isolated our region during his nationwide tour while visiting other regions.
“We have asked him what disdain he has for our region that makes it impossible for him to visit us.”
Another source added that Bola Tinubu remained determined to pull APC into primaries where he could deploy his vast resources to clinch the ruling party’s presidential ticket.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday presented a Certificate of Return to its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
This development is coming after the former Vice President won the presidential primary of the main opposition party last Saturday.
