EKO HOT BLOG reports that the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said recent events have vindicated him over his initial public statement that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, and his supporters boasted that they do not need the G5 governors to win the election because they had been assured of victory by a cabal in the presidency.
The aggrieved governor spoke at the Comprehensive Secondary School field, Ibaka Town, Okrika Island during the Rivers State PDP Campaign Flag-off Rally for Okrika Local Government Area (LGA) on Friday.

Governor Wike however insisted that Atiku will still need Rivers State to win or he will lose the 2023 election.
