Yoruba Group Has Confirmed Peter Obi’s Endorsement Ahead Of Tinubu

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the leader of pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo, on Friday, spoke on the group supporting the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi against the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.

According to Adebanjo, Tinubu will only continue the incompetence of President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

Adebanjo called on Nigerians to put aside tribal differences and vote for the right leaders

The elder statesman in a post on his Twitter account wrote, “Ahmed Tinubu will only give continuity to Buhari’s incompetence. We know Peter Obi very well, that is why we endorse him. He will not disappoint Nigerians, let us put our tribal difference apart and vote right leaders.”

Adebanjo had said some weeks back that he was supporting Obi because it is the turn of the South-East to produce the next president of Nigeria.

He added that based on equity and justice, the president should go to the South-East.
