2027 Elections : APC Governor Gets Automatic Ticket

The Jigawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced its endorsement of Governor Umar Namadi as the party’s sole gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 general elections.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the announcement took place during a “citizens engagement” event held in Guri Local Government Area, where prominent party leaders and stakeholders convened to evaluate the administration’s performance and gather input from the public.

Former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Faruk Adamu Aliyu, revealed the unanimous decision to support Governor Namadi’s candidacy.
He urged party members to remain united behind the governor, citing confidence in Namadi’s leadership and the significant developmental progress achieved under his administration.
“This endorsement reflects our collective satisfaction with the governor’s performance and the direction in which he is steering the state,” Aliyu said.
