“The procession from Tumfure to Old Mile 3 was peaceful, with traffic being diverted. As we moved from Orji Quarters to the Federal Mortgage Bank, a vehicle suddenly appeared from nowhere. We tried to stop it, but before we could react, the driver hit our boys,” Kachalla explained.

“This procession has been held for years without incident. There were casualties, and as of now, there are 12 victims at FTH Gombe and 28 at the Specialist Hospital. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported,” he added.
