The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Saturday disclosed that the country has confirmed 250 new COVID-19 cases as 297 patients are discharged in the last 24 hours.
The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 250 fresh cases, 69 are confirmed in Plateau, 41 in FCT, 21 in Lagos, Delta-14, Kaduna-14, Bayelsa-13, Enugu-13, Ekiti-11, Bauchi-9, Ogun-8, Edo-7, Oyo-7, Rivers-6, Adamawa-4, Osun-4, Nasarawa-3, Ebonyi-2, Kwara-2, Gombe-1, Imo-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 53,727, with 41,314 discharged and 1,011 deaths recorded.
