Palm oil is very popular on this side of the world, I mean we all use it to prepare soup, and so many other meals and most people enjoy it.
Well, it may have so many health benefits, but the risk of posses to the system should never be ignored. This is why you must moderate the amount of palm oil you consume.
1. Rise In the Cholesterol Level
One of the potential risks or negative effects of regular consumption of palm oil is that it can lead to an increase in the bad cholesterol level, which is a little dangerous to the health.
2. Worsen heart conditions
Regular palm oil use has also been related to atherosclerosis, which occurs most commonly in reheated palm oil and can raise the risk of cardiac disease such as atherosclerosis.
As a result, anyone at risk of heart disease should avoid regularly consuming palm oil or eating foods that contain a large amount of it.
3. Increase in saturated fat
Palm oil is high in saturated fats which are recorded to have about 34% of saturated fat and this is linked to an increased risk of human heart disease and also some chronic health conditions if regularly consumed.
