We sometimes hear of people breaking their bones just after having a minor fall. The human bone is naturally made to be strong and a casual fall shouldn’t cause much harm. However, some persons are battling with medical conditions that weaken the bones and joints.
This category of persons has a high risk of breaking their bones after having a light fall or even bending their hips. You must visit the hospital if you suddenly feel pains and aches in your bones and joints.

1. Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is one of the most common diseases that affect the bones. This disease makes your bones dangerously weak and more likely to break especially around your hips, spine, or waist.
Treatment
Osteoporosis can be managed by changing your diet or lifestyle and taking medications. You should also work on increasing your balance and strength to avoid falls that will break your bones.
2. Osteopetrosis.
This condition is more advanced than osteoporosis. It indicates that the person has even weaker bones that can break more easily. This condition damages your bone marrow making it harder for your body to fight against infections.
Treatment
Medications, supplements, hormones, and sometimes surgery can be used as a treatment
3. Osteonecrosis.
This condition occurs when the bone in your arms, bones, arms, knees or shoulders does not get enough blood causing the bone tissues to slowly die. This condition can cause severe pain and difficulty in moving. An injury, diseases like lupus, HIV, cancer, or even medications can cause this disease.
Treatment
Your doctor first finds the cause of the disease and then prescribes drugs, surgery, or other treatments.
