There are certain changes you may notice around the head and neck pointing to the fact that some malignant cells have started growing abnormally in the throat.
1. Usual pain in the ear
Pain in the ear that is not due to any clear problem or disease. If you find yourself feeling persistent pain in the ear when you have not been diagnosed of any ear disease or infection, then you should be watchful for other signs of throat cancer.
2. Persistent cough
A cough that is not responsive to medications, If you start having cough or sore throat that is not responsive to medications aimed at handling it, then you may have throat cancer.
3. Difficulty swallowing
Since throat cancer has to do with the growth of abnormal cells in the throat, it can cause difficulty in swallowing food and water.
