Arthritis is one of the most painful bones diseases currently. Reason being that, it is not only lifelong in most cases but also leads to Stiffness of the joints in the baby and ultimately leads to deformity of the bones and joints if left without care.
A person suffering from arthritis would in the long run totally lose the ability to walk or engage in productive activity. So, there is need to know the common causes of arthritis and also to know whether you are at risk of developing Arthritis.
In this article on EKO HOT BLOG, we would be looking at the main causes of arthritis in both men and women.
1. GENERIC FACTORS
Genetic Factors play a huge role in the development of Rheumatoid arthritis. This means that if one of your parents suffered from arthritis or someone in your lineage suffered from it, you have more likelihood to also suffer from it. The most sad news is that in a case of gene, it can’t really be prevented, everything is just left to fate.
2. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Environmental Factors like infection or toxins may also trigger the immune system of people who are at higher risk of developing arthritis. If you are at higher risk either due to genetic factors, some environmental factors can further worsen the situation and make you develop it faster than you would have.
3. MOLECULAR MIMICRY
Whereby the immune system erroneously perceives the healthy tissues or cells in the body as dangerous agents due to an infection or environmental factor and starts attacking the healthy tissues thus resulting to Rheumatoid arthritis.
This is one of the factors that is not really within the reach of the patient to avert. All you can do in this case is ensure you feed healthy, keep your immune system healthy and also stay away from chemicals or toxins.
