3 Negative Side Effects Of Eating Bananas Regularly

Like the saying goes, there is nothing without some level of side effects no matter how good it is.

 

Banana is a wonderfully tasteful fruit that contains some very important vitamins and nutrients that may be perfect for the body, but then eating banana too often comes with some side effects that you might find highly unpleasant.

1. Stomach Pain and Cramps

Regular consumption of banana can cause stomach pain or cramping, bloating, nausea and vomiting in some cases. You may notice or experience these side effects if you consume banana too often, but moderate intake will rarely cause any harm to the body.

 

2. Rise in blood sugar level

High blood sugar level – banana contains a high glycemic index, so eating it too much can cause your blood sugar level to rise though not severe in most cases unless you have Diabetes. So make sure you eat bananas sparingly as a diabetic patient.

 

3. Increase of potassium content in the blood

Regular consumption of banana can cause high blood levels of potassium in the body.
