The kidneys are very important for the day-to-day running and survival of the human body. This is because the kidneys help in the formation of red blood cells, it helps in the formation of urine, and also play a role in the removal of toxins from the body.
In this article on EKO HOT BLOG, we would be looking at some signs you are suffering from a kidney-related disease.
1. Swelling of the Legs or Feet
This is actually one of the serious signs of kidney-related problems. This swelling of the legs, or feet is often a result of fluid retention caused by the kidneys’ inability to remove liquid waste from the body. When this failure to eliminate liquid waste happens, the fluid now starts accumulating in the legs, ankles or feet. Once you notice this sign, there is every need to see a doctor.
2. Reduced Amount Of Urine
When a person is having a kidney-related problem, he or she might have significantly reduced urination urge. In addition, your body won’t be able to produce much urine, which now leads to significantly reduced Urine output with swellings in the feet, left or ankle. This is because the fluid that’s supposed to leave the body is now accumulating in the body due to the kidneys’ inability to function well.
3. Pain or Pressure in the Chest;
This is another sign of a kidney-related problem. When the kidneys are failing, you will notice sudden pressure or pain in the chest. If you start feeling pain or pressure in the chest for no just cause, do well to see a doctor. Take it more seriously if you are or have also experienced the above-stated signs.
