3 Solutions To Constant Eye Pain And Eye Strain

Eye pain and eye strain are two often interchanged words. Reason being that in most cases eye pain arises due to eye strain or some people mistake the pain coming from eye strain to be an eye infection but in all, there is need to get checked out by the opthalmologist.

 

This is to rule out any danger of more severe or serious eye conditions like glaucoma, cataract etc.

1. Apply Warm Compress On The Eye;

There is one of the simple solutions to eye pain and eye strain especially arising from common reasons. If your eye aches too much, what you need to do is apply a little warm compress on the eye or eyes as the case may be and you will immediately see improvements. Warm Compress works perfectly for eye pain and eye strain issues sometimes even eye pain originating from infection can be resolved using the application of warm compress.

 

2. Limit Screen Time:

If you are the kind of person that spends literally all day staring at a phone screen or computer screen, then eye pain arising from eye strain wouldn’t be something strange or far away from you. Reason being that extended staring at phone or computer screen causes eye pain due to eye strain; a situation that could metamorphose into short sightedness if care is not taken.

 

So all you need to do to resolve this kind of pain is simply limiting your screen time, give yourself some hours of break for your eyes to rest. That way, you won’t have to suffer unnecessary pains due to eye strain.

 

3. Avoiding Pollutants

It’s advised to stay away from Cigarette smoke, fire smoke and industrial gases if you don’t want to experience eye pain. If you are the type of person that easily get exposed to these pollutants, then you should consider wearing protective glasses that would protect you from these irritants and also use lubricating eye drops to keep your eye moist thus reducing eye discomfort or Pain.
