Oyo state government has shut down a company located in Ibadan South West Local government area of the state after 30 members of staff tested positive for COVID-19.
The state governor, Seyi Makinde, disclosed this in a tweet on Saturday night.
“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty-one suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Thirty of these cases are members of staff of the same organisation based in Ibadan South West Local Government Area. The organisation has been shut down and will be decontaminated.
The remaining one case is from Egbeda Local Government Area. ” the statement read
The state now has 107 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
