The Delta State Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has said that 350,000 Deltans were covered by the Universal Healthcare Scheme.
The Governor disclosed this during Physicians’ Week, which was organised by the Delta State Council of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in conjunction with the Delta State Contributory Health Commission (DSCHC) on Thursday.
While speaking at the event which was tagged: “Universal Health Coverage, Leaving No One Behind”, Okowa emphasized that the Universal Healthcare Coverage scheme in Delta State had over 350,000 enrollees comprising of Deltans from both the formal and informal sectors.
