1. Consuming an unhealthy amount of fast food.

There are a lot of folks who have gotten into the routine of eating junk food on a daily basis. The portion of the brain that is responsible for learning, memory, and mental health is actually reduced in size in persons who consume junk foods on a regular basis. If you want to maintain a healthy brain, one bad habit you should break is eating junk food on a regular basis.

2. Not getting enough sleep

Despite the fact that this is more of a medical problem than a routine behaviour. If you don’t give your brain enough time to rest, it will suffer the consequences. According to the findings of certain studies, a lack of sleep is associated with an increased risk of developing brain-related conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Because getting sufficient sleep and rest is beneficial to both the body and the brain, you should make it a practice to get plenty of both.

3. Turning up the volume on your headphones and listening to loud music

If you often listen to music or podcasts with your earbuds turned up to their maximum volume, you are doing more harm than good to your brain. According to research, this can result in long-term hearing loss as well as issues with the brain such as Alzheimer’s disease. It is recommended that you always adjust the volume on your headset to the lowest possible setting in order to protect your brain.

4. Eating too much

If you overstuff your body with food, it may interfere with the brain’s ability to form strong networks of connections, which are necessary for effective thought.
