Liver cancer is a very serious and deadly cancer that arises when abnormal cells grow out of hand or rapidly in the cells of the liver. Since the liver performs numerous roles in our day-to-day life, when the liver becomes cancerous, there are certain changes that will immediately take place in the body signaling that the livers are problematic and need attention.
1. Yellowing of the skin and eyes
This is referred to as jaundice and it happens due to leakage of bile into the blood stream. Bile is produced by the liver and works as a digestive hormone but when the liver is problematic, the bile starts leaking into the blood stream leading to yellowing of the eyes and skin.
2. Skin rashes
when the liver becomes cancerous, it may also start malfunctioning, leading to toxins buildup under the skin. When this happens, you will start seeing rashes on your skin, especially rashes that itch.
3. Skin becomes unusually dry
When the liver is bad, the skin refreshment would stop leading to unusual skin dryness. If your skin becomes unusually dry, do well to see a doctor especially if you are also having other unusual signs that could mean liver cancer.
