3. An Excessive Amount of Sugar and Highly Processed Carbohydrates

Foods like white bread, white rice, and sugary cereals, when taken at a higher rate, have been shown by research to increase the risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity, both of which cause inflammation in the body.

4. Alcohol

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), drinking an excessive amount of alcohol can lead to the development of a variety of health problems, including high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, liver disease, and certain types of cancer, such as those affecting the breast, mouth, and throat.
