1. Nuts

Research has shown that eating nuts such as almonds, walnuts etc. Can provide the brain with some nutrients that will keep it in perfect working conditions.

It has been proven that eating nuts can lower risk of cognitive decline in older people. So you should make it a habit to always consume nuts not just because of the brain but because of the overall health.

2. Fatty fishes such as salmon, tuna, mackerel etc.

They are good for the brain cognitive ability because the brain is made of mainly fat and more than half of the brain fat can be gotten from fatty fishes by virtue of their Omega-3 fatty acids.

So this is like the number one brain food and if you are looking to boost memory power, then you should consider eating more fatty fishes.

3. Coffee

If you have a habit of taking coffee whenever you wake up in the morning, then it may interest you to know that doing so may promote good brain health.

The reason is that, coffee contains some nutrients including caffeine that has been proven to boost alertness, memory power and overall brain health. But this doesn’t mean you should start taking coffee in an abusive way because it has some other side effects.

4. Turmeric

This is one spice that has been proven to be good for the body system in various ways. The reason for this being the fact that Turmeric contains curcumin, which is the major ingredient or compound that boost the brain health and ability and also prevents inflammation in all parts of the body.
